Well, I would like to start that I am not a very good blogger, in fact I have never had a blog before, so, this will be interesting. As to my departure, it has been delayed. There was some paper work mix up and took an extra week to take care of, but things are back on track. Today I just received an email saying that my paper work has been sent to the visa consul and it will take two weeks for me to get a number. Once I get the number than I need to visit the Korean Consul here. After that has been taken care of I will be leaving.
Honestly, all this being delayed has been a blessing in disguise. I still have time to spend with my family and finishing preparing resources for my move. On the other hand, I am anxious to leave to start my new life. I am at the point that I can't prepare for the culture anymore because now for me to really experience it, I need to live. I am a little apprehensive now that I am waiting because my mind keeps wondering off on what I will miss, or what I may not like. I am still excited to go and am looking forward to do what I love to do, teach.
Ok, so this is my first real blog and I hope it wasn't too bad, haha. I will try to keep everyone up to date when I find out more. Thanks for you support and all your prayers, I couldn't go with them.
